The DVHC is committed to bringing not only the exhibitors into the Dog Fancy but including the havanese pet owner and the Fun Match offers that opportunity. For the sixth year the Fun Match will be held inside the air conditioned comfort of the Training Room at Allen’s Kennels in Moorestown, NJ. This year we are offering an AKC sponsored CGC or Canine Good Citizen Test for dogs of all breeds. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.
The testing is not limited to havanese and is open to all breeds. It does, however, require pre-registration .
We have many special events this year in addition to the Fun Match. There will be a Canine CPR Seminar and demonstration.
Entry are required for all competitions. Admission unless you are a contestant is $5 at the door whether it is one person or the entire family...what a bargain. Please think about bringing the following:
a puppy playpen to encourage puppy socialization and to provide a quiet place to retreat when needed. A chair and some plastic bags and paper towels for cleanup.
We have a 'moveable feast' as well and invite you to bring your favorite dish.
